| CAPA at the Five Points for a Holiday Celebration
NEW YORK, New York - The Coalition Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA) had its Holiday Party at the Five Points on December 15th. CAPA Friends, Volunteers and Community Partners had a night of reconnections, new friends and good cheer. The place was packed, the energy high and the music grooving. The crowd sampled satay chicken with spicy peanut sauce, edamame and roast beef panini sandwiches while enjoying performances from a line-up of Pan-Asian comedians and bands.
What a Holiday Treat !! - Eliot Chang of Comedy Central and CAPA Festival Emcee paid a surprise visit while on holiday break from his current tour. He indulged the crowd to an unrehearsed stand up to everyone's delight. Eliot had the crowd roaring with laughter within seconds. And, as always, he brought the house down with his signature brand of comedy. High Cinco !!
For more of Eliot's comedy, go see him on Sunday, Jan 7th, 8pm at the Magnet Theater, 254 W 29th St., between 7th & 8th Avenue, in the "IMPROV REVUE" featuring Eliot Chang. RSVP: [email protected]. $5 Admission - No Drink Minimum. Subway: A, C, E at 34th. 1, 9 at 28th
