Makalina Presents: Lei Pasifika - a New York based Dance Company that embraces the beauty in the art of Polynesian Dancing. With their experience and knowledge they extend to you their heart and soul to share with you their love of the art, culture and history of Polynesian Dancing. New York Asian Film Festival - Launched in 2002, Subway Cinema's New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) is America's leading and most influential showcase for popular Asian cinema. Each year, the Festival selects over 40 feature films, considering only the best, the strangest, and the most entertaining of the recent titles. This year's festival will occur June 19th through July 5th at the IFC Center and Japan Society.

Chinese-American Planning Council - Founded in 1965, the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) is one of the largest nonprofit providers of educational, social, and community services for Asian Americans in the United States. It now serves over 8,000 people daily through some 70 programs in 28 locations citywide. It administers community services, child care, youth services, workforce development, senior services, home attendant services, housing, and cultural services. The Korean American League for Civic Action (KALCA) is a non-profit, non-partisan, education and community advocacy organization. KALCA is dedicated to promoting the civic participation of Korean Americans and Asian Pacific Americans. KALCA seeks to promote active participation of the Korean and Asian American communities in the civic process; to educate community members about their rights, duties and responsibilities as American citizens; and to encourage community members to contribute to the broader American society. The Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York is an annual sporting and multicultural event held in August on Meadow Lake in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York to celebrate the fifth moon (or the fifth month) of the lunar calendar. In addition to providing audiences with traditional Chinese foods and performances, the festival hosts over 130 dragon boat teams from across North America, making it one of the largest dragon boat festivals in the United States.
