The 2019 festival reached an audience of over 23,000 people. There are 1.23 million Asian American Pacific Islanders in New York City, comprising 15% of the city’s population. It is the fastest-growing ethnic group. Asian American Pacific Islanders have the highest buying power of any ethnic minority groups in the U.S. according to Nielsen.
